A recyclable toner container for an image forming apparatus includes a shoulder (5), a bulge (6), an opening (3), grooves (4) to form internal spiral ridges, a lock groove (8) and a projection (9) to which a removable member (60) with a lug (62), whose configuration indicates a particular kind of toner, can be removably fitted. The container is configured to be effectively cleaned in order to remove toner, when collected for recycling. An indication showing how many times the container can be recycled may be provided on the container or on a cap fitted in the opening, promoting easy reclamation or reuse. (see Figs. 30-33). In addition, each toner container is so configured as to enhance the probability of reuse. |
