PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a sound insulating property including the transmission sounds generated by a sound source by providing a resin cover with a sound absorbing material formed on the sound source side of a cover body and a film formed on the sound source side of this sound absorbing material. SOLUTION: The cover body 2 is formed by using polypropylene as a base resin, compounding a rubber material as a filler with this base resin and subjecting the base resin to injection molding. The film 4 is stuck to the surface of the sound absorbing material 3 formed on the sound source side of the cover body 2. The film 4 is formed on the front surface on the sound source side of the sound absorbing material 3 in order to absorb the sounds from the sound source passing a cavity 5. The cover body 2 is formed of a material having a large coefft. of loss in order to suppress the vibration of the resin cover 1 by the vibration of the sound source. The resin cover is provided with the film 4 in such a manner, by which the sounds generated by the sound source are absorbed by the film vibration of the film 4 and are then transmitted to the sound absorbing material 3. Further, the sounds are absorbed in the sound absorbing material 3 as well. |
