PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coil component wherein a wire terminal can be fixed on an electrode of a bobbin with excellent reliability, by only the thermal compression-bonding with a heater chip, and a manufacturing method of it. SOLUTION: In this coil component, a solder layer is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a core conductor, a wire wherein an insulating layer is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the solder layer is wound around a bobbin, and a terminal 20a of the wire is fixed on an electrode 15 arranged on the bobbin by thermal compression-bonding. The insulating layer is broken and the solder layer is fused by abutting a heated heater chip 30 against the terminal 20a, and the core conductor and the electrode 15 are intermetal-bonded by pressing the heater chip 30, so as to set fused solder 22' solid and to cover the periphery of the core conductor. |
