摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a highly pure bisphenol compound by reacting a phenol compound with a ketone compound in the presence of an ion exchange resin catalyst and subsequently treating the reaction product under specific conditions. SOLUTION: This method for producing a bisphenol compound comprises reacting a phenol compound with a ketone compound in the presence of an ion exchange resin catalyst to produce the bisphenol compound, separating the unreacted phenol compound with a phenol compound-removing device 10, drying the phenol compound with a dehydrating device 15, returning the dried phenol compound to the reaction device 5, separating water extracted from the ketone compound with a waste liquid-purifying device, returning the ketone compound to the reaction device 5, transferring the water to a drainage, separating phenol compound, isomers and tar from the bisphenol compound with a melt-crystallizing device 25, transferring the obtained recycling residues containing the bisphenol compound, the phenol compound, the tar and the isomers to a recycling recovery device 30 to recover the bisphenol compound, returning the bisphenol compound to the melt-crystallizing device 25, and subsequently purifying the bisphenol compound with a bisphenol-recovering device 40. The tar, the phenol compound and the isomers are recovered with a tar/isomer-recovering device 35 and subsequently recycled.
