<p>New derivatives of 2-imino-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole obtained by oxidative polymerisation of at least one compound of formula (I) or (II) in which R<1>, R<2> and R<3> = H, 1-4 C alkyl, carboxyl, alkoxy(1-4C)carbonyl, 1-4 C monohydroxyalkyl, 2-4 C polyhydroxyalkyl, alkoxy(1-4C)alkyl(1-4C), monoalkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C) or dialkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C); R<3>' and R<4> = 1-4 C alkyl, carboxyl, alkoxy(1-4C)carbonyl, 1-4 C monohydroxyalkyl, 2-4 C polyhydroxyalkyl, alkoxy(1-4C)alkyl(1-4C), monoalkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C) or dialkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C); and R<5> = H, 1-4 C alkyl, 1-4 C monohydroxyalkyl, 2-4 C polyhydroxyalkyl, alkoxy(1-4C)alkyl(1-4C), monoalkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C) or dialkyl(1-4C)aminoalkyl(1-4C); the alkyl and alkoxy groups being linear or branched and the compounds (I) and (II) optionally being in the form of an addition salt with an acid. Also claimed are products consisting of (in)organic particles containing or carrying an indolic product as claimed; and a process for preparation of the indolic polymers.</p> |
