PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly transfer a decoration in a mold by increasing a depth of penetration of sublimable dye in a molding and enhancing durability of the decoration. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a molding provided with a decoration from thermosetting synthetic resin comprising the steps of introducing the resin into preheated casting molds, 1, 2, gelling the resin under excess pressure, taking out a formed cast molding 3, giving decoration at least to a portion of its surface by a thermal transfer method, and transferring the decoration on a transfer sheet 4 of sublimable dye form by heat and pressure, the decoration is transferred directly in the mold while the cast molding still remains warm after the resin is gelled. |
