PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emergency power-supply apparatus by which the supply source of a power supply is changed over automatically to a DC power generation device from a battery power supply by a method wherein the output terminal of the battery power supply and the output terminal of the DC power generation device are connected to the input terminal of an inverter without the intermediary of a changeover switch. SOLUTION: A power-supply input terminal Ts is connected to an output terminal To via a monopolar switch SWa . In addition, the output terminal of an inverter Civ is connected to the terminal on the load side of the monopolar switch SWa , and the output terminal of a DC generator Gd and the output terminal of a storage battery Bt are connected to the input terminal of the inverter Civ without the intermediary of a changeover switch. Thereby, even without using a changeover switch, the supply source of a power supply can be change over automatically to the DC power generation device Gd from the battery power supply Bt owing to a rise in the level of the output voltage of the DC power generation device Gd .
