PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio selective calling receiver in which battery replacement is urged for the user, sudden reception disable is prevented in advance and the operating convenience is improved by informing the reduced battery capacity before a battery voltage alarm is outputted through the solution to problems that the decrease in a battery voltage is not noticed till the battery voltage alarm is outputted and reception is disable at an important point of time. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a red LED 6a and a blue LED 6b and a control section 21 checks a battery voltage of a battery 10 at application of power and when a battery voltage (x) is less than 1.1v, a battery voltage alarm is outputted as conventional, and in the case of 1.1v<x<=1.2v, the red LED 6a is lighted and in the case of x>1/2v, the blue LED 6b is lighted. Thus, the LED is lighted depending on a degree of reduction in the battery voltage in a stage before the battery voltage alarm is outputted. |
