<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the antenna system by which transmission reception is conducted in an arbitrary direction for frequencies at board bands, without the use of a board band phase controller. SOLUTION: A plurality of radio waves with different frequencies over a broad frequency band coming space are received by antenna elements 11-1n, and the received signals are distributed into three respectively. Then the received signals are converted into specific frequency signals by three different and corresponding local oscillation signals, the frequency band is limited by narrow- band pass filters 611-6n3, and then a plurality of the radio waves with different frequencies are discriminated for each frequency band and three resulting reception signals are given to phase controllers 911-9n3 and the reception signals are phase-controlled respectively for each frequency band. On the other hand, at transmission time, the three transmission signals, phase-controlled for each frequency band by phase controllers (not shown), are combined by distributers/ combiners 21-2n via circulators 311-3n3, and the combined signals are emitted in space by the antenna elements 11-1n.</p> |
