ANODE CATALYST FOR METHANOL FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode catalysis for methanol fuel cell with its high electrochemical activity. SOLUTION: This anode catalyst contains a metal element of at least one type of lutenium or tin and indium. This catalyst is employed by sandwiching it with a carbon carrier as a fuel pole or the like. A co-sediment to be obtained by sedimentation from a mixed solution of a metal salt of these catalytic metals is dried and reduced as required, whereby an atom-shaped mixed catalyst is obtained.
