PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate easily a reinking type thermal transfer recording medium by forming a substrate of a polymer material having the basic absorption edge wavelength of a specified value or less. SOLUTION: A substrate 22 is formed of a polymer material composed of a polymer resin of basic absorption edge wavelength of 250nm or less. Uncured ultraviolet curing heat-sensitive ink (UV ink) is applied on one face of the substrate 22, and the uncured UV ink is emitted from the back side (substrate 22 side) to cure and form the ink layer 23. As ultraviolet rays curing the ultraviolet curing ink heat-sensitive ink can be transmitted easzily through the substrate 22 by the arrangement, the curing rate at the time of curing uncured ultraviolet curing heatsensitive ink is improved and the regenerating rate of the ink layer 23 can also be improved. |
