<p>The application relates to a liquid, acid nutrient composition with a long shelf life and a health-promoting action, which contains 0.1 - 5 % by weight 'eggwhite protein' (EWP), based on the total composition, wherein less than 40 %, preferably less than 10 % and most preferentially less than 2 % of the EWP is denatured. The composition also contains preferably 0.01 - 0.7 % by weight conalbumin, based on the total composition. The composition is preferably in the form of a fermented and pasteurised dairy product, in particular a yoghurt drink, in the form of a complete food, such as a food for administration by tube, or in the form of an EWP-containing fruit drink.</p> |
