摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of anistropy of physical properties and to obtain a liquid crystal polymer film having a small coefficient of linear thermal expansion and a small thermal shrinkage percentage by specifying the coefficient of linear thermal expansion and the thermal shrinkage percentage in the plane direction of an isotropic film in which liquid crystal polymer molecules are oriented randomly in the plane direction. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal polymer film which is made from a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer or its polymer alloy and in which liquid crystal polymer molecules containing 5-30vol.% of a filler are oriented randomly. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion in an optional plane direction of the film is made to be 20ppm/ deg.C or less, the thermal shrinkage percentage is made to be 0.1% or less, and the tensile elastic modulus is made to be 600kg/mm<2> or more, and the ratio A/B of the coefficient of linear thermal expansion A in one plane direction to that B in another direction is made to be 0.3-3. The ratio D/C of the standard deviation D of thickness distribution to the average C of the thickness distribution of the film is made to be 0.2 or less, and the surface roughness Rz of the film is made to be 10μm or less.
