PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber which can give a sheet improved in strengths without detriment to plasticity, adhesion of a roller sheet on a base, and compression set of a vulcanizate by mixing a specified polyorganosiloxane with a filler, a crosslinking accelerator, and a carbamate. SOLUTION: This rubber is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. polyorganosiloxane represented by the formula [R is a halogen or an (un)substituted 1-18C monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<1> is a 1-6C monovalent ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon group; m is 1,000-20,000; n is 0-20; and x is 0 or 1] and having a viscosity of 0.1×10<6> to 100×10<6> mPa.s with 20-200 pts.wt. filler having a BET specific surface area of 50m<2> /g or above, 0.1-5 pts.wt. radical-generating substance, at least 10<-4> pt.wt. crosslinking accelerator selected among Si-H- containing organopolysiloxanes and transition metal hydrosilylation catalysts, and 0.01-1 pt.wt. ammonium or alkali (alkaline earth) metal carbamate.
