<p>Gas treatment process uses adsorption at variable pressure between a cycle high pressure (PM) greater than atmospheric and a cycle low pressure (Pm) less than atmospheric, where the adsorber (1) is connected to at least one tank (2, 3) and to a reversible compressor and pump (4); in the adsorber a cycle comprising a production phase (b), a regeneration phase made up of a purge phase (d) using a back- flow pump to the cycle low pressure, and a recompression phase (a) with forward flow. When the production flow is reduced from (or increased to) a first value DN to a different second value D, the speed of rotation of the compressor and pump is reduced (increased) during the production, purge and recompression phases, the outgoing production gas leaving the adsorber is reduced (increased) during the production phase and the length of the production, purge and recompression phases are increased (reduced). Also claimed is the gas treatment equipment to carry out the above process, with an adsorber connected at the outlet end to at least one tank via a first pipe with a variable opening valve; a reversible compressor and pump connected to the other end of the adsorber and a speed varier connected to the compressor and pump.</p> |
