PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heat accumulation to the liquid on a heating element to a large extent while enhancing discharge effect and discharge pressure by positioning a separation wall by a strike-against reference part and the end part on the upstream side in the liquid flow direction of a liquid passage wall to fit the same in a grooved member. SOLUTION: Movable members 31 are arranged in the liquid passages 10 of a grooved member 1 or on passage walls 10a and the grooved member 1 is vibrated by a vibration means such as a vibrator to generate the movement of the separation wall 30 in the arranging direction of the movable member 1 and the movable member 31 is fitted in the liquid passage of the grooved member 1. Further, the grooved member 1 is inclined so that the end part on the upstream side in the liquid flow direction of the liquid passage wall 10a becomes upward and, by vibrating the grooved member 1, the separation wall 30 is struck against the front strike reference part 4 and side surface strike reference part of the grooved member 1 to fit the separation wall 30 in the grooved member 1. The movable member 31 is fitted in the groove becoming the liquid passage 10 and the damage of the movable member 31 is not generated at a time of the alignment of the grooved member 1 and the element substrate.
