<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a hazard so as to be informable to a succeeding car at the time of unfolding an air bag, or at the time of a minor bump, namely, not leading to the unfoldment of this bag by lighting or flickering a hazard lamp whenever the detecting output of a negative acceleration sensor of a vehicle exceeds the extent of impact judging acceleration. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is suddenly decelerated due to a sudden stop or a collision and thereby detection output in proportion to acceleration from an acceleration sensor 11 exceeds a first impact judging acceleration, a hazard lamp 3 is lighted or flickered by the control processing of a central processing unit 10. In addition, the detection output exceeds a second impact judging acceleration, an air bag is unfolded by the control processing of the central processing unit 10. With this, any possible hazard due to a sudden stop or a collision occurrence of the vehicle frontwards is informed to a driver in the succeeding car clearly and accurately by way of light or flickering the hazard lamp 3, while people aboard are also protectable from an impact at the time of a car crash owing to unfoldment of the air bag.</p> |
