<p>Bromelain, a mixture of enzymes derived from the stem of the pineapple, has been found to be a modulator of intracellular signal transduction, in particular a modulator of pathways in which inositol phosphates play a role, and is therefore useful in the treatment of various diseases and conditions which are mediated by these intracellular signal pathways.</p> |
