PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a herbicidal composition capable of effectively controlling various weeds including Echinochloa crus-galli Beav. var. praticola Ohwi in a small dose by blending a specific ingredient therein. SOLUTION: This herbicidal composition is prepared by blending (A) a triazine derivative represented by formula I [R<1> is H or methyl; X<1> is F or Cl; A is represented by formula II or III; Z is O or S; X<2> is F or methyl; (n) is an integer of 0-2] with (B) a specific herbicidally active compound such as O-3-tert-butylphenyl 6-methoxy-2-pyridyl(methyl)thiocarbamate. 2-Amino-4-(α- fluoro-α-methylethyl)-6-[2-(3'-5'-dimethylphenoxy)-1-methylethylamino]-s-triaz ine, etc., are cited as the compound represented by formula I.
