METHOD OF PARTS POLISHING WITH FLAP BOBS

FIELD: machining of parts; may be used in polishing of parts with flap bobs. SUBSTANCE: in polishing of parts of the type of body of revolution, flaps are deformed before zone of working and bob is continuously dressed by grinding with the help of lubricating-cooling process means. The latter is taken in the form of roller with abrasive layer rigidly bound to it and coated with working medium with width exceeding that of bob flap. Roller is given rotary motion around axis parallel to axis of bob rotation and in direction opposite to that of bob to execute continuous dressing of bob by grinding. Flaps striking the roller restore their cutting ability, get coated with working medium and are uniformly deformed. EFFECT: higher quality of worked surface of workpiece. 1 dwg, 1 tbln
