PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass-coloring agent composition capable of forming a brilliant water-resistant colored film excellent in a pattern-forming property on the surface of glass by compounding the superfine particles of a specific noble metal, a specific organic metal compound, a binder resin and an organic solvent. SOLUTION: This glass-coloring agent composition is produced by dispersing the superfine particles of one or more kinds of noble metals selected from gold, platinum, palladium, rhodium and silver (particle diameter: 1-100nm) in a polymer (e.g. nylon 6), and subsequently heating the dispersion at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the polymer and lower than the melting point of the polymer to convert the polymer layer into a stable state, or independently dispersing the superfine noble metal particles in a solvent (e.g.α-terpineol). The organic metal compound includes the ethoxides, propoxides, etc., of one or more kinds of Ti, Si, Fe, Ni, Mn and Zr. The organic metal compound is used in an amount of >=0.1 mole per mole of the noble metal. The binder resin includes ethyl cellulose. The organic solvent includes m-cresol. The raw materials are stirred to form a pasty composition.
