PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pulp mold improved in tensile strength, capable of preventing the generation of the cracks and breakage of the cushioning materials due to impacts and capable of keeping the good cushioning effect by adding organic synthetic fibers to pulp. SOLUTION: This pulp mold is produced from a pulp slurry containing organic synthetic fibers (preferably rayon fibers having a fiber diameter of 10-50μm and a fiber length of 10-30mm) in an amount of 1-60 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the pulp. The addition of colored organic synthetic fibers enables to obtain a pulp mold having good decorability.
