Each product (2) is engaged by the gripping device (23) downstream from the operation station (7) and before the relative segment (16) is detached from the tubular wrapping (5). Each product (2) is gripped by the respective the gripping device (23) at a gripping location (20) along the second path (P2), and located at a distance from the operating station (7) smaller than the dimension of the product (2) measured parallel to the travelling direction (6). Each the product (2) presents a centre and is gripped by the respective gripping device (23) at a given distance from the centre and at a gripping location (20) along the second path (P2).
