PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation in the discharge of a coating liquid and the failure in the discharge thereof by making the coating liquid housing chamber and the space in the front shaft of a coating applicator constituted by forming a coating application tip having a valve mechanism at the front end of the front shaft fixed to the aperture of a shaft cylinder communicate with each other by a through hole in which the coating liquid is not passed by gravity. SOLUTION: The blind shaft cylinder 1 which is the coating liquid housing chamber 2 of a retouching liquid, etc., is formed of a flexible material, such as synthetic resin. A bar- shaped stirring body 3 is arranged in this coating liquid housing chamber 2. The front shaft 5 having the through hole 4 is fixed to the aperture of the shaft cylinder 1 and the coating tip 6 for discharging the coating liquid is inserted and fixed into the front end of the front shaft 5. In such a case, a middle plug 10 is fitted into the rear of the inside of the front shaft 5. The straight pipe-like through hole 10a of a size not to allow the passage of the coating liquid by gravity is formed in the central part of this middle plug 10. The coating liquid housing chamber 2 and the through hole 4 are made to communicate with each other by this through hole 10a. As a result, the settling amt. in the front shaft 5 and the coating application tip 6 is decreased and the degradation in the discharge and discharge failure of the coating liquid are prevented even if settling occurs in the coating liquid. |
