<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a horizontal load from being directly applied by enlarging a through hole of a connecting member and eliminate the need for a high strength connection member. SOLUTION: In this post connection structure, a contact plate provided on the lower end of an upper post is adapted to come in contact with the top of a lower post so that the upper post may be loaded on the lower post, thereby connecting this upper post to the lower posy. In this case, a post head joint pin 34 projected upward is mounted on a cover plate 332 of the lower post. A cup section 50, which is dented upward and fitted outside the joint pin 34, is formed on the contact plate 45. A hole 52 is bored in a top board of the cup section 50 where a bolt 53 is penetrated into this hole 52, thereby fixing the cup section 50 and the joint pin 34. The diameter of the hole 52 is arranged to be larger than the diameter of the stem of the bolt 53.</p> |
