PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject rotary edge designed to turn the tip of the rotational direction of each of projecting pieces slantly downward so as to produce ascending current due to their rotation, raise grass, improve their bite into grass, reduce rotary power, and improve energy saving effect. SOLUTION: This rotary edge for a mower is so designed that plural projecting pieces 12 are arranged therearound, there are provided cutting edges 13, 14 on the tip 15 of the rotational direction of each of the pieces 12, and the tip 15 is turned slantly downward. It is preferable that the point 17 of each of the cutting edges 13, 14 is formed by the crossed line provided by the upper surface 16 of the tip 15 and the downward slope 18 of the tip 15, the ground contact portion 20 is formed by the crossed line provided by the lower surface 19 of the tip 15 and the downward slope 18, and the tip 15 is bent and tilted relatively to the horizontal plane at an angle of 1-45. |
