Variable drinks holder for fixture to vertical surface

The holder has a flat housing comprising an under part (1) and a housing cover (2) which when folded inward causes a component (3) for holding the vessel to project. The drink container has a mechanical gear (4) on its housing cover and is so linked to the holding component, that on opening the housing cover the holding component moves out of a position located flatly on the cover into a horizontal position suitable for holding any customary bottle or can. The holding component is of the tongs type and is fixed on a parallelogram guide, so that it can be raised with larger drink vessels manually into a position with a greater distance from the stand surface.
