PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight increment of a turbine casing and increase cooling capacity and containment capacity by spirally providing plural streaks of fins on the outer face of the turbine casing to be inclined relative to a turbine shaft so that they may cross turbine moving vanes at an exit angle. SOLUTION: Moving vanes 12 are provided integrally with a turbine shaft 10, so that the moving vanes 12 and stationary vanes 13 are alternately arranged in the axial direction. The moving vanes 12 are covered with a cylindrical shroud 15 which has a honeycomb 14 on the inner face and the stationary vanes 13 and the shroud 15 are supported on a turbine casing 11. Plural fins 16 are spirally provided on the outer face of the turbine casing 11 for a gas turbine to be inclined relative to the turbine shaft 10 so that they may cross the turbine moving vanes at an outlet angleθ. In this way, the cooling capacity and containment capacity of the turbine casing 11 are improved. As the strength and rigidity of the turbine casing 11 is increased, the plate can be made thinner and lighter.
