<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium of an emulsion ink for stencil printing which medium can dilute a W/O emulsion ink for stencil printing without affecting the viscosity of the ink and thus gives a highly clear ink which does not blur. SOLUTION: This medium, used for a W/O emulsion ink for stencil printing, is a W/O emulsion having an oil phase and a water phase. The oil phase contains a body pigment, but the ink does not contain a coloring pigment. Pref. the clarity of the medium is such that when the medium is applied in a thickness of 50μm to a clear sheet and dried, the OD value of the medium- coated part of the sheet on a black standard plate measured by a reflection densitometer is 1.4 or higher. Pref. the body pigment accounts for 1-5wt.% of the ink.</p> |
