PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately print an image at an intended position while keeping the relative positional relationship by printing an image from a print starting position in the first scanning of a printing head, and starting the print of an image from a position corresponding to the print starting position in the subsequent scanning. SOLUTION: When a print starting position PA-1 determined by a user is at the right side with respect to a position PA-2, the first line is printed such that printing data are shifted to the right for the differenceα. The subsequent lines are printed similarly. When the print starting position PA-1 determined by the user is at the left side with respect to a position PA-2, the first line is printed such that printing data are shifted to the left for the differenceα. The subsequent lines are printed similarly. Accordingly, an image can be printed accurately on a position desired by a user.
