The present invention discloses a motor comprising a helmet (4) which is provided with a cylindrical internal face (12), permanent magnets (28) which extend against the internal face of the helmet, and ratchets (38) each comprising a body disposed between respective magnets and a pair of legs (48), which extend relative to an end surface (34) of said magnets in the axial direction, and which are adjacent to said surface. The motor also comprises a splice plate (6) fixed to the helmet with respect to said end surface of the magnets. Both the ratchets and the splice plate are formed in such a way so that a portion of the splice plate extends with relation to the ratchets in the axial direction, and adjacent the same. The invention is essentially useful for fan motors of automobile vehicles.
