A motor driven window lifter for motor vehicles is characterised by a very simple design. It may be used in a particularly advantageous manner in combination with a so-called door module which unites in itself the tasks of several functionally different groups of components. According to the invention, the traction means, for example a cable, is stretched between two fastening points fixed in relation to the door body. Only the winding element or driven wheel, which do not cause the traction means to change direction, are mounted between both fastening points. Both fastening points, as well as the winding element or wheel, are arranged largely below the centre of gravity of the window pane. |
