PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material and a color image forming method excellent in safety and easy rapid processing property, by which good color developing property and good hue can be obtd., production of stains after the treatment can be suppressed without requiring a bleach-fixing process. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material is produced by forming photographic layers comprising a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a nonphotosensitive layer on a supporting body. In this case the photographic layer contains a reducing agent for color development expressed by formula, a diffusive dye forming coupler and a mordant. The nonphotosensitive layer has a releasing layer. (In formula, Cαis a carbon atom, Z is a carbamoyl group, acyl group, alkoxycarbonyl group or aryloxycarbonyl group, and Q represents atoms to form an unsatd. ring coupled with Cα.
