PURPOSE:To make distance measurement with a decreased energy loss and has the least possible parallax even at the time of short distance photographing by selectively and effectively utilizing light sources for multipoint distance measurement. CONSTITUTION:The main lens part 4a of a projecting lens 4 is subjected to parallax adjustment to a finder 2 of an ordinary state and the luminous fluxes from the light sources 6a to 6c are projected through this main lens part 4a toward a subject, by which the multipoint measurement is executed. The computation of the distance measurement based on a photo-detecting element 7d is off in the case of ordinary distance measurement. On the other hand, the computation of the distance measurement based on a photo-detecting element 7d is started while the finder 2 makes the parallax correction to a photographic lens 1 if the subject is at a short distance. Namely, the light emission of the light sources 6b, 6c is prohibited and the light projection is executed by directing the luminous flux from the light source 6a through an auxiliary lens part 4b toward the proximity subject 3. The energy loss is lessened in this way and the distance measurement which has the least possible parallax even at the time of the short distance photographing is executed in this way. |
