<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the latitude of design of an image forming device and to enable the device to be made small in size by forming a paper carrying path nearly S-shaped. SOLUTION: The paper carrying path 40 is formed nearly S-shaped, and a separating roller 35 and a reverse roller 36 are disposed on the side of a transfer roller 28 with respect to a plane including a contact line with the transfer roller 28 and paper 23 and also orthogonal with the bottom surface 39 of the image forming device. Then, it is desirable that the radius of the curved surface part 42 of a paper carrying guide is made >=40mm and distances to the center axis of the reverse roller 36 and the center axis of a regist roller 26 are made >=100mm so as to smoothly carry the paper 23 at the inside of the paper carrying path 40. Thus, the latitude of the design of the image forming device is improved, and the miniaturization of the device is made possible, so that the occupancy area of the image forming device is reduced. Also, the storing performance and the carrying performance of the image forming device are improved.</p> |
