PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle to run continuously even in case of trouble by arranging a switching means for switching pressure applied on at least one of a plurality of frictional engage elements so as to communicate with a control means or line pressure, and switching the switching means into the direction communicated with line pressure. SOLUTION: At the time of an advance range, a pressure passage B becomes line pressure PL through a manual valve 80, a pressure passage 45 makes control pressure by a solenoid valve 4, and control pressure is led to a pressure passage 44, namely an UP/C through a shuttle valve 9. Pressure in an OD/C is controlled through the manual valve 80 by the solenoid valve 3. In this case, line pressure is controlled to the maximum value at the time of fail when solenoid valves 3, 4 are locked on a position where output pressure becomes low pressure by engagement such as contamination. Pressure in the pressure passage 41 is increased, a switching valve 11 is switched against a spring 46, the pressure passages 42, 43 are communicated with each other, pressure in the pressure passage 44 is increased through the shuttle valve 9 so as to run a vehicle in a first gear position or a second gear position. |
