PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the velocity ripple of a stepping motor of a period twice as long as a driving period by forming exciting currents in triangular waves by microstep driving, and performing the switching to each phase of excitation currents, staggering the time so that the maximum velocity of the rotor may be constant with each phase. SOLUTION: In the case of performing microstep drive by a control circuit, exciting currents are made in triangular form so that the maximum velocity at the time of a rotor rotating to several phases 2, 3, 4, and 5 may be constant among several phases, and also currents are applied, sliding the timing of switching to several phases 2, 3, 4, and 5 of these exciting currents. That is, the timing of the switching of the exciting currents to be supplied to the first coil 8 and the second coil 9 of several phases 2, 3, 4, and 5 is adjusted among the several phases 2, 3, 4, and 5, being compensated so that the maximum velocity in several phases 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the rotor 7 may be constant. Accordingly, the velocity ripple of the stepping motor of a period twice as long as the dive period can be prevented. |
