PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which has no mechanical fluctuation that is a factor of failure and has high accuracy in registration alignment. SOLUTION: A transfer paper front end sensor 101 for detecting arrival time of transfer paper being fed by a paper feeding part is disposed near a transfer part 34 in a supply path of the paper feeding part which feeds transfer paper at a constant speed. The arrival time detected by this sensor 101 is compared with arrival time of transfer paper under normal conditions and its deviation is found. Time when an image writing part 20 starts to write a manuscript image to be memorized in a manuscript image memory device onto a photosensitive member 31 with a manuscript setting reference part on a manuscript table at the head is found in consideration of the found deviation. Thereby, resist alignment of high accuracy can be conducted without causing the paper feeding part to change the carrying speed of transfer paper. |
