PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of cracks in an electrolyte plate and retard generation of gas crossover by forming a surface lubricant layer on the surface of a reinforcing material of a porous body. SOLUTION: A surface lubricant layer solution for an electrolyte plate 13 is prepared by dissolving either one of polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl alcohol, Teflon, and silicone resin, for example, in ethanol. A surface lubricant layer is formed by dipping coating treatment or spray coating treatment of the surface lubricant layer solution. A reinforcing material obtained by the surface lubricant coating treatment is mixed with holding material powder and an organic binder in an organic solvent. As the reinforcing material, for example, particles and fibers of alumina and lithium aluminate are listed. The mixture obtained is formed in a green sheet in a doctor blade process, then degreasing is conducted, and a porous body having the specified porosity is formed. Thereby, the generation of cracks in the electrolyte plate is reduced. |
