PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor with which enciphered data is easily inputted and enciphering/deciphering is executed by the same device. SOLUTION: When enciphering is selected by operating a cryptographic key after desired characters are inputted, the inputted characters are read from the head (S43) and corresponding to whether these characters are alphanumerals, Japanese syllabary (KANA), square forms of KANA, Chinese characters (KANJI) or any other symbols (S44-S48), alphanumeral encipher conversion (S45), KANA/square form of KANA encipher conversion (S47) or KANJI encipher conversion (S49) is selectively executed. |
