PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device with which the positions of respective facilities on a map displayed on a CRT can be easily recognized. SOLUTION: Out of the maps displayed on a CRT 29, symbols showing facilities are displayed at the positions on the map, where the facilities exist, while being superimposed on the map and these symbols are displayed so as to distinguish the plural facilities included in one type. Further, any desired facility is selected and detailed information concerning the selected facility is displayed on the CRT 29.
