The invention relates to insulating arrangements for facades which, whilst being easy to produce and assemble, have a reliable insulating effect with respect to environmental influences such as weather and sound. According to an embodiment, an internal insulating arrangement (3) comprises a flat seal (5) which can be connected to the support structure and into which conventional insulating frames (6, 7) can be inserted. Joints between elements (20, 21) of the flat seal (5) can be sealed by stuck-on insulating patches (18) over which the insulating frames (6, 7) can be guided. An external insulating arrangement (24), which can have the same construction, is provided with non-return valves (29) for the removal of air and water and also for the prevention of penetration by environmental influences. The ends of a screw connection (25) which are exposed to environmental influences and the ends of the screw connection (25) which are introduced into the support structure are separated by means of a heat-insulating layer (38) between adjoining elements (36, 37) of the screw connection (25), the elements (36, 37) being interconnected such that they are rigid against rotation and undetachable in the axial direction.
