The invention relates to a laminar product comprising fibrous material and a thermosetting resin mixture as matrix, and is characterized in that the fibrous material does not contain a binder and is composed of discontinuous fibres, some of which are oriented virtually perpendicularly to the plane of the sheet. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the laminar product.
