PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition containing an enzyme, reduced in an enzyme odor by compounding a detergent composition containing a specified amount of enzyme with a carboxylic acid polymer and a flaky silicate salt each in a specified amount. SOLUTION: This detergent composition is composed of (A) 3-10wt.% of a carboxylic acid polymer (preferably, the sodium salt of an acrylic acid-maleic acid copolymer, etc.), (B) 0.5-3wt.% of an enzyme (e.g. a protease or a lipase) and (C) 0.5-5wt.% of a flaky silicate salt (e.g. sodiumα-disilicate) and has a bulk density of >=0.6g/ml. The component C preferably has particle diameters of 100-1000μm. The objective composition is obtained e.g. by preparing an aqueous slurry containing a surfactant and the component A and having a solid content of 50-70wt.%, mixing and kneading the resultant slurry and a nonionic surfactant, subsequently pulverizing the obtained kneaded material, granulating the obtained powder, mixing the granules with water-insoluble fine powder, putting the obtained granular detergent together with the components B and C into a coating drum, etc., and mixing them into a powdery material. |
