LCD DRIVING METHOD, LCD MODULE AND LCD DRIVING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily constitute a high definition multilevel driving voltage waveform with high degree of freedom by time-dividing the selection period of a pixel and making the number of changing times of an on-level and an off-level in each selection to be zero or one time. SOLUTION: The selection period of a certain pixel is time-divided into P pieces (P is a positive integer >=2) and when respective periods are defined as T(1)∼T(P) in the order of time, a column voltage corresponding from T(1) to T(P) is an on-level and a column voltage corresponding from to T(1) to T(P) is an off-level and then the number of changing times of the on-level and the off-level in the selection period is made to be zero or one time. When the phase of a column waveform is made so as to be inverted into a positive phase and a negative phase every one selection period as shown in the (b) column of the Figure in such a way, the number of changing of a voltage is reduced as compared with that in the case of a column waveform shown in the column (a) of the Figure and also the pulse width is increased. Thus, the frequency component of the column waveform with respect to all gradations is reduced.
