PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control method for image forming device with which an optimum image forming environment can be set by switching a printing processing operation corresponding to whether a host device and an image forming device are connected through a local interface or a network interface. SOLUTION: Concerning the printing control method for the image forming device connected through a local interface 3 to a host device 2 and connected through a network interface 4 to the other host device, when the size of printing paper requested for the host device 2 is not coincident with the size of printing paper owned at the image forming device, printing processing is controlled so as to switch the printing processing operation corresponding to whether this request comes from a host device 2a connected through the local interface 3 or from a host device 2c connected through the network interface 4. |
