Blends of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) with improved notch impact strength contain 36-64 wt.% isotactic PP homopolymer, 35-63 wt.% high density PE (HDPE) and 1-10 wt.% random copolymer (EP) of 75-85 wt.% ethylene and 15 -25 wt.% propylene units. Also claimed is a method of making the blends. |
