PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running controller capable of preventing a state of running back when an electric vehicle starts on a slope. SOLUTION: A controller for an electric vehicle includes a control means 1 to control driving force of a driving motor 11 on the basis of a command of driving force generated through a calculation means 6. The control means 1 includes a running-back preventive means for reading out a torque characteristic curve as a preventive pattern for the running-back in accordance with the revolutions of the motor 1, which is detected sequentially by a revolution detecting means 23, and generating an auxiliary command. In this case the auxiliary command is calculated from the torque characteristic curve and the revolutions. Then the motor 11 is controlled by the auxiliary driving force on the basis of auxiliary command value. |
