PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine the present position in a curving traveling or branched route traveling. SOLUTION: In a map matching processing for determining a present proposed position for coinciding the present position to a road position on a map on the basis of the detected present position and map data (step 101) and determining the present position according to the present proposed position (step 104), selection information showing which traveling route is selected in the past curving traveling is stored, when a curving traveling is judged (step 102), the present position is determined in reference to the stored selection information (step 200) when the same curving traveling as the traveling in the past is judged. Further, selection information showing which branched route is selected in a branched route traveling in the past is stored, and when a branched route traveling is judged (step 103), the present position is determined in reference to the stored selection information (step 300) when the same branched route traveling as the traveling in the past is judged. |
