PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for optical fiber cables which does not require installation work of an optical information receptacle box and leading-in work of branched optical fiber cables. SOLUTION: This closure has a sleeve 2 which houses the branching connection parts 5 of the trunk optical fiber cables A, B and a branch optical fiber cable, is openable and closable and has apertures 2a, 2b at both ends and end face plates 3a, 3b through which these optical fiber cables A, B pass and are mounted at these apertures 2a, 2b. The optical information receptacle box 9 is previously mounted by external mounting at the terminal Fc of the branch optical fiber cable. |
